IL BISONTE started 40 years ago when Antonio “Wanny” Di Filippo set up his own business in leather bags and accessories in a workshop in the very heart of Florence’s historical centre.

In 2010 IL BISONTE celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Over all these years, the company has grown remarkably, passing from the little artisan’s workshop to a worldwide operating company, maintaining its original style and the traditional artisanship typical of its trademark.

The quality of materials and workmanship are fundamentals of IL BISONTE style, which combines refinement with simplicity, and joins practicality with sober elegance.

IL BISONTE production is entirely made in Italy, more precisely Tuscany, including the raw material, almost exclusively vegetable tanned natural leather “vacchetta” cowhide.

The company’s range of production has grown considerably, releasing two collections a year of bags, travel bags, wallets, agendas, belts, shoes and many other leather artefacts, all while maintaining the production of its classic models.
