ISHI collaborates with various communities throughout the country, especially with thehuicholcenter.org in Jalisco which promotes and protects the Huichol culture with education and jobs. We also aim to have the lowest impact on the environment.
Disabled people craft our packages with leftover material. The skins we use are all by-products of the meat and dairy industry and the dyes are chromium free.
The Cajonos line, ISHI’s latest collection, uses hand-made silk threads dyed with natural pigments such as indigo and grana-cochinilla (carmine) from the state of Oaxaca
